Day 3 & 4 in Canberra

I'm back to continue with Canberra's trip...Was super busy the last two weeks for my major lab report of developmental biology, research proposal and 4 quizzes...More assignments than what I had in NTU...Well, finally have the chance to blog, but still have to settle my scoping paper and head & neck anatomy quiz by monday...Sianz...Anyway, let's continue...
Day 3 in Canberra (6 Oct)
Woke up "early" to check out before 10am, had to use some tactics to avoid being spotted by the receptionist (10 of us slept in the room, which is illegal) but still questioned by that old hag...Jesselyn finally showed her power and argued with the receptionist...Well, we managed to settle the problem without extra payment but were permanently black-listed...Anyway, we made our way to Cooma to get some tourist information to Snowy Mountains...
Cooma = 酷马 = Cool horse
It's a nice and quiet small town...
Was tempted to try this but we ended up having McD for lunch, my third McD for the trip...lol
Made a quick stop at Jindabyne, a small town near our destination, Kosciuszko National Park because of its beautiful scenery...

We saw a group of kangaroos crossed the road on our way back...As usual, I made a quick stop again..
She has a Joey!!! The kangaroos only jump away after I've taken the photos...How nice sia...
We had Thai style dinner later at night...Different night different style...How cool...
These photos somehow gave me an eerie feeling...lol

Day 4 in Canberra (7 Oct)
Our motel...
It's spacious...Definitely better than Red Cedar...(The one with old hag receptionist)
After we checked out from the motel, we headed to the old bus depot market...It opens every sunday, selling iconic Australian craft pieces and arts...

After the mint, we went to Australian War Memorial...I thought we could finish in 2 hours time and head back to Newcastle but I was wrong...It took us about 4 hours to "briefly" browsing through "most" of the artifacts...

Had our dinner at Sydney...My Dumpling noodle...A$8.50 but it's really big...

Finally, we concluded our 4 days 3 nights trip to Canberra...Really glad that I get to join them for this fun-filled trip...Thanks to Jesselyn, Cindy, Kimberly, Hock Luck, David, Hezrie, Eric, Branda, and Yee Man...
