Well, the donuts are nice but I still feel that Donut Factory's Double Choc is the best...
At night, Shijun and I went to Kris's place for his friend's gathering, it was quite fun meeting some new friends. We played this game called "How to host a murder" while having dinner together, it's something like a dinner party murder mystery game. Each different mystery, called an episode, has eight suspects (4 male and 4 female) who are played by the guests of the party. We played episode 5: The Chicago Caper and this is the summary of the storyline:
"Set in 1928 in a speakeasy in Chicago. Notorious mobster Harold "Hal" Coppone has been released from prison and on his return to Chicago, a bomb was thrown into his car. When the smoke cleared, it was discovered that Coppone wasn't even in the car. The mobster had a fortune stored away in a safe below the Luxington Hotel. Only he, and his gang's treasurer Sunny, knew the safe's combination. When Sunny went to check on the fortune, he unlocked the safe and found Hal Coppone lying dead on the ground, his body riddled with bullets. Each of the eight guests had some motive for wishing Coppone out of the way, but which one actually got to him?"
The fun part of this game is everyone is encouraged to wear the suggested attire, my role was a district attorney and I was suppose to wear a sharkskin suit and carry a briefcase. But since it's a suggested attire, I modified a bit and become a district attorney who just finished his work and carrying a laptop case..lol...Well, it's a very interesting game but the rules are quite complicated and a bit confusing for the first-timer but as the story goes on, it was quite exciting, because all the guest must work together to solve the mystery and find who's the killer. (A far more better version of "Mafia" or "Polar Bear" in Singapore although it's limited to 8 people)
The dinner
