Day two in Sydney....

Today, Shijun has to work so Shishan (Shijun's sister) and her cousin, Jess (Jessica I think, well, i just call her Jess) brought me to town. Yesterday visited the outer parts of the city but today we visited some landmarks of Sydney. Haha...Became a tourist today..Before that, let me tell you how much I paid for the bus fare.....It was a freaking A$5.60 for a trip to town, because of the reason of "It's school holiday. You can only have concession if you are going to your university, blah blah blah..." by the "responsible" bus driver so we paid the fare for about 30km's trip...It's a killer...(By the way, the concession also costs A$2.70)

Queen Victoria Building (QVB)

Sydney Tower from QVB

Inside QVB

Life size tableau of 19 years old Queen Victoria dressed for her Coronation

The actual size of Royal Mace, it's huge...Diablo anyone??

A cool clock made by Ipoh Limited (a.k.a. Made in Malaysia)

Darling Harbour, lots of seagulls, at least they look better than pigeons

Balancing a guitar while playing one, Zixian, you should try it...

Some church where Gothic and Punk dressing people gather at 4/5pm

After we had our lunch at some food court, mine was a freaking A$8.50 for a garlic naan, plain naan and a small serving of curry chicken whereas the girls had Char Kuey (Chai Tao Kuey) for A$7.80, how cheap is that....Food court sia....After lunch, we decided to go to the famous Sydney Opera House...

Sydney Opera House

Some of my so called artistic photographic skills

Sydney Harbour Bridge from Opera house

Sydney Harbour

Although the place is a perfect postcard photo taking place, but there are still reasons why you can't take postcard quality photos...

The background too bright

Strong wind (Jess, Shishan, Me)

And under-exposure...lol...

After that, we went to The Rocks, a place where once one of Sydney's most dangerous quarters, warehouses, grog shops, brothels, and where the "razor gangs"preyed on unwary.

Not that famous anymore??Well, it's just weekdays.

After that, we went back home, this time taking the train from Central Quay to Pennant Hill, concession this time but still A$2.20...OMG...

To be continued...
